Ithaca

As you set out for Ithaca
Hope your road is a long one
Full of adventure, full of discovery

Keep Ithaca always in your mind
Arriving there is what you're destined for
But don't hurry the journey at all
Better if it lasts for years
So you're old by the time you reach the island
Wealthy with all you've gained on the way
Not expecting Ithaca to make you rich

Ithaca gave you the marvellous journey
Without her you wouldn't have set out
She has nothing left to give you now

And if you find her poor, Ithaca won't have fooled you
Wise as you have become, so full of experience
You'll have understood by then what these Ithacas mean

Tell a Tale...

Today is not a day for just
sitting around
So spread your wings 'n
turn around
For now above your heard, a
home for all is found
So make love and go on out
Share the glory of "God's"
Free house, work amongst
the people there, 'n
Tell a Tale... if 'U' Dare

Angels of Mercy

These women and men who tend the sick
Heal your wounds, Cure your sickness
They are there for the old, the young, the babes in arms

There's always a smile when it hurts
They stand proud and give all a hug
There at the birth of the new-born, these angels of mercy

They are there at the end
With a re-assuring and sympathetic ear
An arm or shoulder to lean on
These angels of mercy

We pray they will be there always
For us all, as when needed
These angels of mercy
God bless them all

Untitled

Scary is what you can see,
It may not seem what it is,
Differing from you and me

Challenging it can be,
Differing from one to one
Keeping your thoughts to yourself

What can it be?
Just leaves you alone...
